The Tampa Baseball Museum at the Al Lopez House is a celebration of Tampa's rich baseball heritage, honoring the players, teams, and communities that have shaped the sport in the region for over 135 years. Located in Al Lopez's childhood home, the museum showcases the achievements of Tampa's baseball greats, from Major League players to Little League champions, and offers a journey through the history of the game in the city.

With permanent and temporary exhibits, visitors can explore the early days of baseball in Tampa, learn about the cultural integration brought by the cigar industry and Cuban immigrants, and discover the stories of legendary players like Lou Piniella, Wade Boggs, and Tino Martinez. The museum aims to preserve and share the traditions, honor the legacy of Al Lopez, and provide educational experiences that highlight Tampa's unique relationship with the game of baseball.
