Sutton Homes, now known as Sanctuary by Strive, was established in 1994 by Gail and Jim Baxter as one of the first Alzheimer’s and dementia care providers in Central Florida. The organization aims to create a memory care environment that resembles a home rather than a large assisted living facility, offering personalized care in a residential setting.

In 2020, Sutton Homes was sold to Strive Senior Living, which operates multiple locations throughout Central Florida. Each Sanctuary by Strive home features home-cooked meals, secure entrances, and assistance with daily activities, all within a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere.
