Located in Oldsmar, Fla., West Bay Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is a 120-bed facility. It offers a wide range of postacute care, short- and long-term rehabilitation care and specialty medical services. It also provides hospice-related and respite care services. Its facility consists of a dining room, enclosed courtyard with gazebos, on-site beauty salon, barbershop, common room and a therapy gym. It is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, an independent and nonprofit association that sets standards for well-run health care facilities. The center s health programs include Alzheimer s disease care, diabetes management, occupational therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, and patient and family education. It also offers care services, including dental, podiatric, psychiatric and vision. Its outpatient center s therapists develop personalized programs for people recovering from total joint replacements, orthopedic disorders, neurological disorders, strokes, fractures, amputations, musculoskeletal disorders and wounds.
