St. Thomas Aquinas High School is a coeducational secondary school, and is located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. It was founded in 1936 and supports religious studies. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies; world, European and American history; economics, geography, foreign language, fitness, physical education, health, fine arts and computer science. The school s guidance department assists students to achieve the scholastic requirements for college admissions and career opportunities. Its sports division includes cross country, football, golf and volleyball. Its media center provides an extensive and functional collection of books, periodicals, audiovisual software and online sources to students. The school has various clubs and organizations, including chess, art, environmental, future health care professionals, junior classical league, best buddies and social justice club.
