West Florida Baptist Church began July 14, 1975 as Stewart Street Baptist Church. Our name changed in 1987 due to relocating to our present facilities. There was only a name change-not our belief in the Word of God. We are a KJV, soulwinning, independent Baptist church that strives to love people with a heart of compassion. We desire to see people saved and have a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. We gather each week to enjoy practical Bible preaching and uplifting and encouraging music. God has blessed us with a great spirit in our services. We look forward to seeing you soon. At West Florida Baptist Church, you will find we have something for everyone.

About Our Community We are located on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, along Alabama s beautiful Gulf coast. An eclectic community, rich in the cultural arts, we are home to a variety of authors, poets, artists and musicians. The eastern shore is a family friendly environment and, while rapidly growing, maintains a small town feel. Jubilee Shores is very unique in our ministry philosophy. Our worship style is truly a house blend, containing a variety of contemporary, traditional and post-modern elements and imagery. We seek to be relevant to our culture. Therefore, our dress is casual and building authentic relationships is central to all we do. We are a grace place, with strong biblical teaching that is practical and leads to connecting people to God who have been bored, bruised, beaten up or burned out by church.

Founded in 1867, St. Mary Catholic School is an educational institution that offers a range of academic programs and extracurricular activities. It is one of the oldest Catholic elementary schools in Alabama. The school works to promote the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical growth of students. It serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school provides classes in English, science and math. It organizes various sports activities, such as football, volleyball and basketball. The school maintains a lunchroom that offers breakfast and lunch options. It operates a parent-teacher organization that conducts fundraising events. St. Mary Catholic School is a part of St. Mary Parish, which provides spiritual and social opportunities.
