St Lucie County Fire District Station 4
St. Lucie County Fire District Station 4, established in March 2008 in collaboration with the Florida Department of Transportation, was built to replace an outdated facility that could no longer accommodate the necessary personnel and equipment. The station serves a diverse response area that includes residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, as well as the Treasure Coast International Airport.
Equipped with specialized Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) apparatus, Station 4 is prepared to handle aviation emergencies and responds to various local businesses, including boat dealerships and manufacturing plants. The area is home to over 100 industrial businesses, making it one of the most hazardous zones in the county for potential fire and hazardous material threats.
