Spencer Bachow, MD

Matthen Mathew, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, with expertise in lung cancer, head and neck cancer, and benign hematology. Before joining Baptist Health, Dr. Mathew was an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Hematology-Oncology, Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. Dr. Mathew earned his medical degree at University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he was selected to be chief resident. He then completed fellowship training in hematology and medical oncology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ColumbiaUniversity Medical Center, where he was appointed chief fellow. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Mathew has extensive experience in clinical trials research and immuno-oncology. He has been the site principal investigator for large, national cooperative group studies and has also designed and implemented trials focused on advancing new and more effective treatments for patients. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Mathew believes a multidisciplinary approach to treatment is crucial for cancer care. His approach to patient care involves working together with the rest of the cancer care team — from surgeons to social workers — to ensure that patients have a strong support network during treatment. In his free time, Dr. Mathew enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons. His favorite activities include going to the beach, playing tennis and golfing.

HinaSaeed, M.D., is a board-certified radiation oncologistanddeputy director of radiation oncologyattheEugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health,at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. She specializes in cancer care usingadvancedradiation oncologymethods.She speaks English and Urdu. Prior to joining Lynn Cancer Institute in 2022, Dr.Saeedworked as an assistant professor of radiation oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As part of her work, she was instrumental in establishing several satellite programs throughout Wisconsin.In addition to being a co-investigator on many clinical trials, Dr.Saeedledan investigator-initiated protocol to assess a novel radiation therapy technique for the management of central nervous systemtumors. During medical school, Dr.Saeedearned the title of valedictorian.She graduated from herradiation oncologyresidency program with a Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals Research and Quality award. She has published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters and invited review articles.Shealso serves asassociate editor for Clinical and Translational Radiation Oncology. Dr.Saeedis a member of various regional and national organizations.She serves onnumerouscommittees working on guidelines and best practices for oncologic management.She is also passionate about health disparities, with a special focus on women of color. Dr.Saeedprovides a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach to personalized care. She values compassionate,holistictreatmentwith a commitment to innovation. She loves building long-term relationships with her patients and strives to be a source of comfort during difficult times. When she is not seeing patients, Dr.Saeedenjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She also enjoys being outdoors and is passionate about wellness.

Michael Kasper, M.D., FACRO, is a board-certified radiation oncologist at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, part of Baptist Health. He is also the medical director of the institutes radiation oncology. Dr. Kasper served on Floridas Cancer Control and Advisory Board from 2004 to 2010 after receiving appointments from both Governors Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist. He served as chair from 2005 to 2008.He is an affiliate assistant professor at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and served on the national board of directors for the American Cancer Society from 2010-2014. He is a reviewer for multiple journals, published numerous articles and given international seminars and lectures on prostate and skin cancer. Dr. Kasper earned a healthcare hero award for advocacy work that led to smoke-free workplaces in Florida. He has participated in numerous clinical trials that help bring Lynn Cancer Institute to the forefront in radiation oncology breakthroughs.Dr. Kaspers approach to patient care is to partner in his patients journey back to health by learning about individuals and understanding their needs and expectations. He works to educate patients about their disease, treatment options, side effects and alternatives, believing that empathy is a critical feature of the therapeutic process.When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Kasper enjoys spending time with family, exercising and playing the guitar.
