Spencer Bachow, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He is also themedical director of the Lynn Cancer Institute/Center for Hematology-Oncology laboratory. Prior to joining Lynn Cancer Institute in 2017, Dr. Bachow was a fellow in hematology and medical oncology at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He is a principal investigator on multiple clinical trials for hematologic malignancies and genitourinary malignancies. His work has been published in Blood, Annals of Oncology, Haematologica, Current Hematologic Malignancy Reports, and Clinical Advances in Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Bachow was faculty member of the year for the Florida Atlantic University internal medicine residency program. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Bachow’s approach to patient care includes using the latest inevidence-based tests and treatment protocols to provide the best care possible. When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Bachow enjoys playing tennis, traveling and fixing up his house.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Mathew has extensive experience in clinical trials research and immuno-oncology. He has been the site principal investigator for large, national cooperative group studies and has also designed and implemented trials focused on advancing new and more effective treatments for patients. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Mathew believes a multidisciplinary approach to treatment is crucial for cancer care. His approach to patient care involves working together with the rest of the cancer care team — from surgeons to social workers — to ensure that patients have a strong support network during treatment. In his free time, Dr. Mathew enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons. His favorite activities include going to the beach, playing tennis and golfing.

Dr. Kasper served on Floridas Cancer Control and Advisory Board from 2004 to 2010 after receiving appointments from both Governors Jeb Bush and Charlie Crist. He served as chair from 2005 to 2008.He is an affiliate assistant professor at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and served on the national board of directors for the American Cancer Society from 2010-2014. He is a reviewer for multiple journals, published numerous articles and given international seminars and lectures on prostate and skin cancer.
