History

Home away from home... We believe that every child is unique and will grow at his or her own pace. Our teachers spend time nurturing children's strengths and encouraging them to reach new heights. Children are prepared to successfully start kindergarten through activities that build foundation knowledge for reading, writing and mathematics. Our classrooms are colorful, friendly and properly equipped. All of our teachers are fully certified, with lots of hands-on experience. They join us as dedicated team members.

Offering quality child care for ages 6 weeks to 5 years, our classrooms are colorful, friendly and properly equipped. All of our teachers are fully certified, with lots of hands-on experience. They join us as dedicated team members. In the fall of 2012, Southpoint ELC formed its first soccer team! It was a huge success as children had fun learning the basics of play and the importance of teamwork. Any child from ages three to five is welcome to participate. Teams are formed twice per year. It takes a village... and this village consists of loving dedicated teachers, along with parents who will get involved, donate, and be there for their child! We laugh together through funny Halloween parties and crazy Easter hats, we celebrate all birthdays, we learn about animals and we learn about what it means to be a friend. This village is growing, and we would love to have you be a part of all that goes on!
