The Southwest Community Farmers' Market is a Florida non-profit organization and is currently located in popular Tropical Park near the highly visible Bird Road entrance. The Market continues and expands its mission to bring fresh seasonal produce and quality, locally produced artisan food products to our community, help educate its consumers about South Florida's bounty, and to improve the local economy by keeping local dollars local. The Market accepts SNAP/EBT and doubles those benefits when used to purchase fresh produce. The Southwest Community Farmers' Market was voted one of the Top Ten Farmers' Markets in South Florida in the 2013 WPLG Channel 10 viewers' poll.
Focusing on fresh, seasonal, local fruit, vegetables, eggs, and herbs, mostly organic or sustainably grown. Featuring vendors selling locally produced artisan wares, such as baked goods, jams, pickles, sauces, juices, and local honey, as well as live plants. Adding new vendors and products all the time. We are a Community farmers' market primarily serving South Miami / Coral Gables / Westchester / Kendall and other areas of Miami-Dade County, easily accessible from SR 826 (the Palmetto Expressway), and constantly evolving to meet the needs of our Community.
