Silver Lake Village by Preferred Assisted Living

Florida Presbyterian Homes, located in Lakeland, Fla., is a more than 45-acre wooded campus on the shores of Lake Hunter in Florida. The campus is home to more than 300 residents living in cottages, independent living apartments, assisted living apartments and a 40-bed skilled nursing center. The facility has more than 130 staff members and residents participate in social, educational, and cultural activities. Independent living residents can furnish their own homes and can keep pets in their living quarters. The campus includes a heated pool with hot tub, lakeside trails, gardens, libraries, workshops, fitness facilities, dining rooms and chapel. It is located close to a range of community resources, and the facility provides group transportation so that residents can stay active and involved in the larger community.
