The Engineering Division is a part of the Public Works Department of the Seminole County Government. It provides professional engineering support to the Board of Commissioners and other county departments. The division is responsible for the implementation of Capital Improvement Program for the county s infrastructure development that includes construction of highways, drainage systems, sidewalks, trails, pedestrian bridges and tunnels. The Engineering Division also provides customer services in the areas of right-of-way research, utility and miscellaneous facility permitting. Its surveying services include plat review and approval and the maintenance of vertical and horizontal surveying controls. The Engineering Division is located in Sanford, Fla.
