Samuel New, MD, FACOG

Dr. VanBennekom is an obgyn who practices in Jacksonville, Baptist South and at Nocatee. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Honors College at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI) with a degree in Biology. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School (Ann Arbor, MI) and completed his residency in OBGYN from the National Naval Medical Center (Bethesda, MD). While in the U.S. Navy, he served as Department Head for the Department of OBGYN at the Naval Hospital (Yokosuka, Japan) and as Department Head of OBGYN at the Naval Hospital (Jacksonville, FL). He joined Women's Care in 2005. He has special interests in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, management of menopause, and contraception technology.

Dr. Benjamin Levy is a board-certified OBGYN at Women's Care in Jacksonville, FL, with privileges at Baptist South. He completed his residency at Orlando Health - Winnie Palmer Hospital, where he was chief resident. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina and his undergraduate degree from Clemson University. Dr. Levy has presented research on ovarian conditions and is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Outside of work, he enjoys woodworking, fishing, and traveling. Now accepting new patients for OB and GYN care.

Michelle Melanson, MD, is a board-certified OB-GYN providing personalized, high-quality care at Women's Care in Jacksonville, Nocatee, and Baptist South, FL. She offers comprehensive services including prenatal care, infertility evaluations, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Melanson earned her medical degree from the University of Florida and completed her OB-GYN residency at the University of Virginia. Her clinical interests include pregnancy, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and robotic-assisted surgery. Patients value her approachable and compassionate care.
