Safety First CPR and Safety Training

History

Safety First set out to start a safety company in Northeast Florida that would be like no other, one that would have something to offer all members of the family. Indeed, we have succeeded offer a wide range of courses and services for all ages. We designed our courses from the student prospective and not the ever-so-used teacher prospective. We ourselves have sat in training programs that took too much time, were uninteresting, were all lecture style, and that we didn't even remember once we left the classroom. We wanted our courses to be different. In our classroom, we take a very hands-on approach and add a dose of humor and FUN. Lead Instructor and Co-Owner, Tukz Taaca, has 25+ years of experience in Aquatics (water safety) and has also been an elementary school teacher since 2012. Carrie Taaca, Co-Owner and Business Manager, is known for her attention to detail, timely responses and great customer service.

Specialties

Safety First CPR offers quality and affordable traditional classroom courses in the Jacksonville, St. Augustine and North Florida area, as well as online Blended Learning courses, certified through the American Safety & Heath Institute. Our courses include: Community CPR/AED, Basic First Aid, Basic Life Support, Bloodborne Pathogens, Babysitting Safety, Group Swim Lessons, Women's Self-Defense, Youth Safety and Lifeguard certification and in-service training.
