S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue Inc., founded in 2008, is dedicated to rescuing animals from euthanasia in kill shelters, having saved over 28,000 pets that became homeless through no fault of their own. The organization takes in not only adoptable animals but also those that are sick, terrified, elderly, or otherwise considered less adoptable.
Operating entirely on donations, S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue relies on the generosity of the community to continue its lifesaving mission. Their Sanctuary at Hollister provides a loving environment for older and non-adoptable dogs to live comfortably for the rest of their lives.
