Roxanne J Guy, MD

History

Dr. guy has the distinction of serving the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) in 2007 as the first female president. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons is the largest organization of Board Certified Plastic Surgeons in the world, with over 6000 members. Dr. Guy also served as a written and oral examiner for the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and was a member of its Cosmetic Advisory Council for aesthetic surgery content for the Board Written Examination and for Maintenance of Certification Program. In 1996 and 1997, Dr. Guy was the Medical Staff President for the largest local hospital in the area, Health First Holmes Regional Medical Center. Dr. Guy was named Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine Alumnus of the Year for 2004 in recognition of her
