Dr. Ron Lopez is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as certified as a Diplomat in the sub-specialty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his training in adult and child Psychiatry at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami and has been in private practice in the Pinellas County area for more than 24 years. Dr Lopez played a vital role in the Public Mental Health System of our community by heading the Child and adolescent "Crisis" unit at PEMHS, receiving and treating facility of Children suffering from a mental or substance abuse crisis.
