Rolle Project

The Rolle Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to introducing students to the art of dance through innovative productions, such as their contemporary ballet, The Red Swan. This unique performance combines elements of the classic Black Swan story with urban funk, featuring a diverse array of dance styles including contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and West African.

Under the artistic direction of Tyrell Rolle, The Red Swan follows the journey of two ballerinas, Nina and Little Sister Natalia Charlotte, as they navigate the forces of darkness and light. The production aims to engage audiences with new characters, costumes, and choreography, while also providing an educational experience for those unfamiliar with the original ballet.
