His advanced skills include performing interventional spinal procedures, electrodiagnostic studies, and implanting neuromodulation systems to help patients manage chronic pain and improve function. Originally from New York City, Dr.

Matthew Elverman, MD, is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with advanced fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Missouri before pursuing a NASS-accredited fellowship in the Greater Tampa Bay area, where he gained specialized expertise in treating complex spine, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Elverman works at Anchor Spine & Joint, located in Tampa, Riverview, Odessa, Pinellas Park, and Lutz, Florida.
