Robert A. Norman Dermatology

Robert A. Norman, DO, MPH, MBA, is a board-certified dermatologist who has been providing exceptional care to improve skin health for over 30 years. At his practice, Dr. Robert A. Norman Dermatology in Riverview and Tampa, Florida, he is dedicated to providing individualized care to help his patients preserve their natural and youthful skin for a lifetime. Dr. Norman completed his pre-med, medical, and public health training at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan; Midwestern University in Chicago, Illinois; the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio; and the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Norman is a faculty member for five medical schools and has been honored with numerous service and teaching awards, including Physician of the Year (2005), the Distinguished Service Award (2007) in Hillsborough County, Florida, and the Tampa Bay Medical Hero Award (2008). In addition to his practice, Dr. Norman serves as the chief physician and owner of Dermatology Healthcare, which delivers essential skin care services for nursing home patients. He is also a prolific writer, having edited and written 41 books, including The Blue Man and Other Stories of the Skin. He and his wife, Carol, have five children brought together in a blended family. Dr. Norman is very active in his community, serving on the board of many organizations, as well as donating his time as needed. When he’s not improving skin health, Dr. Norman enjoys playing tennis, photography, biking, kayaking, and making music on the harmonica.
