History

After years of operating Howard's Moving Company, Clark Howard decided it was time to take a slower pace and fufill a lifelong dream of operating a sightseeing vessel on the Florida waters. Afterall, he had always enjoyed being in his own boat surrounded by all the beautiful sealife. So, he earned his Master's License and began his quest to design his dream vessel which would become known as the RIVER QUEEN. He and his wife Joann searched and found just the right man to take the plans and construct the RIVER QUEEN. Together they frequently traveled to the west coast to oversee the progress. In 1989, Capt. Clark proudly escorted the River Queen to her new home in Sebastian, Florida. In 999, after a very courageous battle, Capt. Clark succumbed to cancer . His dream lives on though, today his wife Joann and his daughter Carol carry on his legacy and continue to proudly operate River Queen Cruises. We are a family oriented and after all, isn't that what it is all about?

River Queen Cruises offer three different ecological rver cruise trips daily, Monday through Sunday. We also offer private charters for special events, Gift certificates are available.
