Founded in 1913, Advent Christian Village is the oldest intergenerational retirement community in Florida. It offers friendly and secure independent environment, and a continuum of care services to more than 900 members, resident staff and their families. It offers a wide range of services and care through camp Suwannee, the village church, Copeland clinic, Copeland community and wellness center, and special events such as the artist series and winter retreat. Its Copeland clinic offers full-service medical care, including family practice, geriatric consultations, women s health, urgent care, basic X-ray services, bone density testing, electrocardiograms and laboratory services. Advent Christian Village is an accredited community and also provides home ownership, rental housing, assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care. Its social service department assists members in helping with forms, linking members to appropriate services, assisting with transfers, and offering a listening ear and a supportive hand.
