Pride of Florida

PRIDE of Florida is a self-funded, not-for-profit organization dedicated to positively impacting Florida communities by providing vocational training to eligible inmates, therefore reducing recidivism rates and saving taxpayer money. With over 40 years of experience, PRIDE offers more than 37 job training programs across 17 state facilities, equipping participants with valuable skills and certifications for successful reintegration into society.

In collaboration with the Florida Department of Corrections, PRIDE additionally provides educational programs, including TABE and GED preparation, helping inmates to earn their high school equivalency diplomas. By operating on the principles of social enterprise, PRIDE not only enhances public safety but also demonstrates the cost-effectiveness of privatizing certain government functions through their extensive range of products and services.
