Pride Fort Lauderdale, formerly known as Pride South Florida, is the oldest Pride celebration in the state of Florida, born in 1977 out of protest against discrimination. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Pride Fort Lauderdale brings together the diverse community to create an annual Pride Parade and Festival, raising funds to foster pride, equality, and respect for all LGBTQ communities locally, nationally, and globally.
Pride Fort Lauderdale has grown to become one of the largest Pride Festivals in Florida, attracting thousands of attendees annually. With a commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity, Pride Fort Lauderdale aims to make Fort Lauderdale a premier destination for leisure and business travel, while supporting and strengthening the multi-cultural community through various events and initiatives.
