Port Mayaca Memorial Gardens is a serene and expansive cemetery located in Canal Point, FL. Established in the aftermath of the devastating 1928 Hurricane, the cemetery serves as a memorial to the lives lost during the natural disaster, with over 1,600 victims laid to rest here. Originally operated by a Trust formed by the cities of Pahokee, Belle Glade, and South Bay, the City of Pahokee took over complete control in 1992. With recent land acquisitions and the generous contribution of a mausoleum by Vencent Henderson, the cemetery offers a tranquil final resting place and a range of memorial options, ensuring its longevity for years to come.

Port Mayaca Memorial Gardens provides both above-ground interment in the Henderson Memorial Chapel, featuring 125 crypts, as well as ground burial in the Garden Section. The Garden Section offers various lot sizes and memorial options, including upright or flat bronze memorials. The cemetery also offers an at-need burial package that includes the lot, concrete vault liner, and the opening and closing of the interment site. With its rich history and commitment to perpetual care, Port Mayaca Memorial Gardens is a peaceful and dignified place for families to honor their loved ones.
