Leisure Services Division is a part of Polk County, Fla., and operates more than 30 park sites and over 10 miniparks that include a historical-oriented park, athletic facilities, picnic areas and campgrounds. It also maintains nearly 40 boat launching sites. The division additionally organizes special events and conducts a summer program. Its administration section works to formulate grants and agreements between the county and cities for park development and improvement.
