Police Department

The Florida City Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that serves and protects citizens and maintains law and order. It is comprised of more than 45 sworn and nonsworn officers. The department maintains a field operations division that operates K-9 and motorcycle and bicycle patrol units, as well as employs various school crossing guards. The Florida City Police Department also maintains an investigation section that provides technical and operational support, coordinates the involvement of other local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and investigates crime. In addition, it supports internal affairs, records and crime analyst sections. The department s communication center coordinates responses to various emergency and nonemergency calls.
