Welcome to Podunk Eats! Our mission is to reinvigorate the recipes and dishes the south has known to love. What is Podunk you ask? A small, insignificant place. Founder and operator, Angela Grear, grew up in Lake Placid, FL (the definition of Podunk) sharing in her families southern recipes. While spending 15+ years in the restaurant industry she saw a niche for classic southern fare in South Florida. Alongside her husband, she decided to showcase the down home flavors of growing up in the south turning simple ingredients into creative dishes that spark a memory and highlight the culinary talent the south has offered for centuries.
