Plew Elementary School

Plew Elementary School is a public school that provides academic education to students in grades prekindergarten through five. The school is located in Niceville, Fla., and enrolls more than 600 students. Plew Elementary School was established in 1968 and is a part of the Okaloosa County School District. The school s curriculum includes basic studies covering English, Spanish, math, language arts, health, physical education, and science and social studies. It provides cultural enrichment activities that include music, chorus, drama and dance, and organizes musical concerts. The school has a media center that offers magazines, story books, computer workstations and access to the Internet. It also offers accelerated reader and accelerated math programs. The school also offers participation in kindergarten games and activities. It focuses on interactive skill-based activities. Additionally, the school encourages students to participate in sports activities. Plew Elementary School is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and offers parent-leader association.
