This must be the poorest run sailing program in the country. The boat is dirty and cluttered. The skipper does not use the holding tanks and illegally discharges raw sewage into the Florida Keys....

Pine Island Sailing, located in Bokeelia, Florida, offers unique sailing and boating experiences with Captain Chuck Koucky at the helm. Unfortunately, due to the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian, their main cruising boat, Blooms, is no longer in operation, and their classic vessel, Alondra, is currently for sale and out of the water.
However, Captain Chuck is still available to provide sailing instruction on your own vessel, and he is familiar with the waters of Pine Island Sound and Charlotte Harbour, offering tours to familiarize you with the local waters. Additionally, Pine Island Sailing is in the process of renovating another sailboat, a 24-ft Atlantic City Cat Boat, which will be available for cruising in the future.
