In pursuit of her vision, Petal soon earned an MBA and began her training in floral designs, which involved world travels and international studies in floral, fashion and color trends, gift and design concepts. To cultivate her visual sense for the latest design trends, special attention is given to the European design culture. Training and later instructing at Lecole des Fleurs (The School of Flowers) in Paris and attendance at shows such as Maison & Objet (Home Dcor and Trends Show, Paris) contribute to the latest cutting-edge designs she brings to her clients. Petal believes her art has simple purpose, to arouse appreciation of fine floral, and, perhaps even more, curiosity and dreams of the exotic. Her design mantra is strive for natural elegance. She focuses on expression, simplicity and color. My design approach is to present something new, visually fascinating and at the same time maintain a sense of nature to enjoy the simple pleasures of beauty. I try to incorporate elements of the outdoors when possible.
