In 1976 Joy and Hugh Ganter opened Seafood World, one of South Florida's best seafood restaurants, in Lighthouse Point, Florida. After many years in the Bahamas, they had a clear ideal of the kind of local seafood restaurants they wanted, and that focus has never changed. They serve the freshest local seafood in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere where recipes are simple and tasteful. Sauces and spices enhance, but don't overpower the seafood. Over time, Papa Hughies grew into one of the best seafood stores in the area, and also provides catering and shipping services. Over 30 years experience has made us a favorite among seafood restaurants.
