Brian Shaheen, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Shaheen obtained his medical degree from Dalhousie University School of Medicine in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He completed residency training at the College of Family Physicians of Canada in Toronto, Ontario. Dr. Shaheen is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. He has previously held academic appointments as an assistant professor at the University of Florida, Washington University and St. Louis University. He has served as a space shuttle support physician at NASA.
