History
Orthopaedic Surgery Center of Clearwater is an ambulatory surgery center(ASC) that specializes in orthopaedic care and is currently owned and operated by nine orthopaedic surgeons. Since opening its doors in 2001, the ASC has remained accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care(AAAHC) having passed our latest inspection in March of 2014. We are proud members of both the Florida Society of Ambulatory Surgical Centers(FSASC) and the national Ambulatory Surgery Center Association(ASCA). Through our partnership with these two organizations, we have worked on behalf of our patients in encouraging our congressional representatives to seek healthcare reform that benefits the patient first. It is our belief that surgery centers such as ours offer the best alternative to hospital based care. Our facility's rate of infection is 0.17%. This number is exceptionally low when compared to the national average that ranges between 3-5%
