Ormond Beach Historical Society

The MacDonald House Museum and Welcome Center is located in a beautiful, Queen Anne style building built in 1903. Rotating displays and interpretive panels tell the story of Florida and Ormond Beach from the earliest inhabitants, the Timucuan Indians through the Flagler era, the Birth Place of Speed and John D. Rockefeller. The theater housed in the MacDonald House shows three different (fifteen minute long) movies on the history and culture of Ormond Beach continuously throughout the day. Free Admission.
