Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a division of the University of Florida College of Dentistry, offers surgical specialty services to patients. The division s surgeons are board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The surgeons have undergraduate teaching responsibilities within the College of Dentistry and in the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program. Additionally, each faculty member maintains a practice and provides consultations and treatment on an outpatient and in-patient basis. The division is involved in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and defects involving functional and aesthetic aspects of hard and soft tissues of the head and neck region. Its services range from extraction of teeth to treatment of complex facial fractures.
