OneBlood Stuart Donor Center

Florida's Blood Centers, established in 1942, is a nonprofit organization that supplies blood and blood products to more than 70 health care facilities and medical centers throughout Florida. It collects, tests and distributes blood and undertakes testing and clinical research activities. The various blood products offered by the center include white blood cells, platelets, plasma and red blood cells that are used in treating cancer, anemia, hemophilia, burns and trauma conditions. It also undertakes tissue matching services and bone marrow donor programs. The center also operates a full-service tissue and eye bank. It has an online integrated blood banking information system for patients that provides center locations, request forms and blood inventory details.
