Recently visited this beach and it was awful. Stagnant water runoff in the parking lots which made the most unpleasant smell and the second we stepped onto the beach, we were legitimately covered...

Wow! This is a hidden gem- you must get beach parking permit to enjoy. Like all Sanibel beaches the shelly white sands lead you to beautiful waters on a beach with few people - a perfect night stroll!

I love Nerita Beach! Rented a condo in Coquina Beach and had immediate access to Nerita Beach. Great sunrises! ( for sunsets I'd suggest going further west/north). Great fishing for catfish in...

There is NO PUBLIC parking! Permit only. Very beautiful it's a shame the public can't access it. $90 for a permit.
