The cream of the nerd crop is to be had at this amazing monthly event. Like a Ted Talk but without the air of pretension, and with alcohol. The trio who run it are friendly, engaging, level 20...

HOST Helping Offenders Successfully Transition

HistoryH.O.S.T. was founded in 2013 and is a company committed to providing support to the sex offender community. While we do not support the crimes offenders may have committed, what we do support is the chance for an offender who has made a mistake, paid for their mistake, and is now willing to comply with the law, to get their life back on track. This in turn becomes a service for the entire community. While it is certainly understandable for some within the community to have no desire to see offenders receive support, the goal of H.O.S.T. is to help educate why the opposite approach is better. The truth of the matter is that offenders get released from prison. They exist in your community whether you support them or not. Rather than forcing them to overcome obstacles on their own, providing their solutions gives them the incentive to comply with the law rather than re offend.SpecialtiesHOST is here to provide support and transitional consulting for offenders whether they are currently incarcerated, recently released, under supervision or not. We turn problems into solutions and offer more than a wish of good luck and a handshake. Immediate issues usually relate to housing, and there are other resources out there. Unfortunately there are many ongoing issues beyond housing that seldom get addressed such as immediate food, clothing, and hygiene items. There are legal obligations to fulfill such as staying current with probation, FDLE registrations and DMV requirements. There are long-term goals to accomplish financially such as obtaining employment or assistance with a business of your own. We certainly handle the housing needs of our clients. We just don't stop there. That's only the beginning. We offer everything from free consulting to extensive transition services, whether a new residence is needed or not.
