The Parks & Recreation Division of Citrus County, Fla., offers a variety of parks and recreational facilities. Its parks offer a range of amenities that includes barbecue grills, fishing piers, jogging trails, horseshoe pits, boat ramps, pavilions, playgrounds, parking facilities, water fountains and showers. The parks also include baseball, soccer, softball and football fields and basketball, racquetball and shuffleboard courts. The division also maintains a river campground of more than 30 acres, which provides opportunities for camping, boating, picnicking, fishing and canoeing. Additionally, it organizes a range of programs and events that include yoga classes, art camps and hip-hop dances. The division also manages cemeteries and maintains its office in Lecanto, Fla.

Our Mission Citrus County Mosquito Control is to promote the health, safety, and welfare of Citrus County residents and visitors through a program of integrated pest management practices to control populations of infected mosquitoes that may become a nuisance or a threat to public health.

The Citrus Community Concert Choir Inc. (CCCC) is dedicated to presenting classical and various forms of choral music to the community while fostering the advancement of the choral arts. Through weekly practice and performances, the choir not only enhances the musical skills of its members but also supports local students with scholarships for their continued study in music. With fundraising efforts from concert attendance, personal contributions, and local business sponsorships, the CCCC is proud to provide financial aid to deserving students pursuing careers in the musical arts. Their concerts, such as the upcoming "Young At Heart," feature beloved songs and serve as a platform for awarding scholarships, demonstrating the choir's commitment to enriching both the cultural and educational landscape of Citrus County.
