Natasha J. Champion, MD

Dr. Maruja Fernandez is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Being a third generation OB/Gyn, she believes in comprehensive, individualized care for her patients. Dr. Fernandez is a graduate of the University of Oviedo School of Medicine in Spain. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada in Reno, and her OB/Gyn training at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. Married and with two children, she resides in Tampa. Dr. Fernandez enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as skiing and biking.

Jillian Layne, PA-C, is a highly personable, driven, and team-oriented Physician Assistant who is dedicated to providing efficient and patient-focused healthcare with knowledge and compassion. In May 2019, Jillian obtained a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from Florida State University, and in August 2021, she obtained a Master of Medical Sciences from Nova Southeastern University. She previously worked at North Atlanta Primary Care as a Physician Assistant, where she obtained full medical histories, performed comprehensive physical examinations, provided diagnoses for patients of all ages in the out-patient setting, and developed appropriate treatment plans for the management of acute and chronic illnesses and diseases.

Sarah McGuire, APRN, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife at Women's Care, proudly serving patients in Brandon and Riverview, FL. With over a decade of experience, she offers compassionate, full-scope midwifery care - including prenatal visits, labor and delivery support, postpartum care, and gynecologic services. Sarah specializes in grief-informed care, lactation counseling, and LGBTQ+ inclusive healthcare. She is accepting new patients and is passionate about empowering women through every stage of life.
