Nano Ener Inc

Formed in 2004, NanoEner Inc. is a wholly owned, privately held subsidiary of Ener1 Inc., a publicly traded company developing and commercializing advanced, high-performance safe lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles. NanoEner Inc. develops new methods of material deposition and thin films. Its prototype equipment uses a proprietary vapor deposition and solidification ( VDS ) process for depositing materials onto battery electrodes as part of the battery cell manufacturing process. This technology was developed for the production of nanostructured coatings for high charge/discharge rate battery electrodes for hybrid electric vehicles, handheld power tools, super thin low cost primary and rechargeable batteries for active tags and other applications.
