History
After a lengthy career in clinical massage therapy, Michelle continued her education in Oriental Medicine and is a Board Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture through the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM - 1996). In addition to completing her Master of Science degree by completing extensive coursework in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine, Michelle has also traveled to Tokyo, Japan to experience intensive training with 40 senior practitioners of Toyo Hari, a highly refined form of 5-element acupuncture emerging from Japan which focuses on treating the root and branch of imbalances in the body. Michelle completed the program certified by the Japanese Toyo Hari Medical Association, Tokyo, Japan.
