History

Since completing his professional training at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Kilchenstein has worked in two major area of interest. Prior to 1985 his focus was on the development of public and private medical services, including inpatient and outpatient programs. During this period of work he also provided organizational development consultation services for education institutions as well as hospitals. Since 1985 he has focused almost exclusively on private outpatient psychiatric care for adult and adolescent patients. His treatment model is derived from his study and background in psychoanalytic theory and practice but also includes psycho-pharmacological, cognitive, and behavioral modification interventions when indicated. Patients are treated in the office, by phone calls and by house calls as indicated.
