Nestled among a tropical garden on approximately 20 acres, Miami Jewish Home & Hospital for the Aged is one of the largest and most comprehensive nonprofit, nonsectarian, geriatric health care centers in the Southeast United States. MJHHA offers a breadth of residential and community-based services, including nursing care, Alzheimer's care, assisted and independent senior living, rehabilitation, adult day care, home care, hospice, mental health services and case management. The center s features include an aviary, old-fashioned ice cream parlor, beauty/barber shop, resident s marketplace, bank and gift shop. Housing nearly 500 licensed beds, including long-term care, rehabilitation and a more than 30-bed geriatric specialty hospital, the center also encompasses special care units for dementia patients. Additionally, guest suites are available on-campus for family, friends and visitors. Miami Jewish Home & Hospital for the Aged is maintained in Miami.
