Miami Country Day School

Founded in 1960, Lehrman Community Day School is an independent Jewish day school offering education in secular and Judaic studies to more than 350 students enrolled in prekindergarten through grade six. The school offers instructions in science, language arts, English, mathematics, health education, computer science, social studies, arts and crafts, physical education, and vocal and instrumental music. The school focuses on enhancing the reading, writing and language skills of students. Located in Miami Beach, Fla., Lehrman Community Day School is accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of Florida, Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation, and is a member of the Solomon Schechter Day School Association.

HistoryWas started and planted by Pastor Nick Schubert, followed by Pastor Butler, then followed by Pastor Olsen, who passed away from cancer, then followed by Pastor Russell DeBord whose desire is to help move people from where they are to where they need to be in their journey to live for God. His desire is is for our church to relentlessly become a prayer saturated church by adapting to the Spirit's pace. To create a culture of invitation that shares hope with everyone. He desires to serve our church, community, and world through a united effort of engagement and resource congregants with opportunities to serve our community and country and world through missions, by praying, giving and going!SpecialtiesWe are a church where every worship experience, every activity, and every leadership decision clearly displays God's heart.
