The Merry Makers Club, established in 1926, is the oldest African-American social club in Columbus, created as a safe space for young Black men in a segregated city. Through the Merry Makers Foundation, the club is dedicated to enhancing the lives of youths in Central Ohio by supporting education initiatives and awarding scholarships to deserving students.
