Michael Cohn, M.D., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health and specializes in the surgical and nonsurgical treatment of hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder disorders.Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Cohn served as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in upper extremity surgery at the Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County.Dr. Cohn earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. He remained at NYU to complete a fellowship in surgery of the hand and upper extremity, where he was elected chief fellow.In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Cohn has published work in multiple medical journals including Journal of Hand Surgery and Bulletin of the Hospital for Joint Diseases. He is a member of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Society for Surgery of the Hand. He is also a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Medical Expert.Dr. Cohns passion for orthopedic surgery stems from his desire to help patients recover from injuries and return to the activities they love as quickly as possible. He strives to get to know his patients and understand their goals in order to tailor a treatment plan that is best for their individual needs. In his free time, Dr. Cohn enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, staying active, traveling and playing golf.

Matthew Motisi, D.O., is a general orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine, shoulder surgery and joint reconstruction, at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Before joining Baptist Health, he was an orthopedic surgeon at HCA Florida Broward Orthopedics. Dr. Motisi performs the latest techniques including the direct anterior approach total hip replacement, robotic total and partial knee replacement, and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty.Dr. Motisi completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Broward Health Medical Center, a Level-1 trauma center. During his residency, he was recognized as chief resident and was awarded Orthopedic Resident of the Year. He also completed an additional year of fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.Dr. Motisi strives to help his patients have a more personal, comforting experience during a period of hardship resulting from sports-related injuries, trauma or degenerative diseases.When he is not treating patients, Dr. Motisi enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife, two sons and extended family.

James Ross, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Ross specializes in sports medicine and joint preservation surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr. Ross is one of the few orthopedic surgeons to have been awarded a Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. He currently serves as the team physician for Florida Atlantic University, Lynn University, and the Florida Panthers. Dr. Ross is a member of the ANCHOR Research Group and the recipient of the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy (ISHA) Trainee Research Award. Dr. Ross is passionate about helping patients regain their quality of life and strives to put himself in their shoes when providing treatment recommendations. He encourages non-operative treatment when possible as a first-line therapy. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, boating, dancing and listening to music.
