Medication-assisted treatment, also known as MAT, is an evidence-based form of opioid addiction treatment that combines prescription medication with a counseling element to promote long-term recovery. Research through the years has shown that MAT is a safe and effective way to treat opioid addiction, and it has been used at methadone clinics throughout the United States for multiple decades.

An integrated behavioral healthcare management company, Advanced Recovery Systems was founded in December 2013 by Dr. Mitchell Eisenberg and Dr. Lewis Gold. We put behavioral health front and center, providing assistance to people with substance abuse issues, addictions and mental health concerns. With facilities in various regions of the U.S., we have been furthering this mission since our inception, applying our advanced approach to patient care.
