Founded in 1972, the Little Havana Activities and Nutrition Centers of Dade County Inc. (LHANC) has grown to become one of the largest service providers for socially isolated and economically disadvantaged seniors in South Florida. Their mission focuses on delivering quality social, nutrition, and health services to low-income, frail, and isolated elderly individuals, enabling them to remain at home with assistance and avoid costly institutionalization.
