Leaven Brewing

History

Leaven was started during those in-between moments. You know the kind where you go about living your life as usual and then you stop to day dream. Our day dream, and passion for beer quickly escalated into looking for commercial real estate, a home for Leaven Brewing Company. KJ's been a professional brewer for 6 years now, he once called the brewdeck at Ft. Myer's Brewing and Brew Hub home. With KJ's knowledge (kick-ass beer recipes) and all of the support from family and friends, we were able to make Leaven Brewing a reality.

Specialties

We specialize in traditional, solid style beers - on tap right now, our flagships are: a Blonde Ale, Oatmeal Stout, an IPA, a Red Ale, and Kolsch. Keep checking in with us as we grow our beer list - we plan on having 10 taps of our beer, 5 flagships, 5 rotational, 1 guest tap (because who doesn't want to put their friend's beer on tap) and a cider tap.
